The project presents an imaginative, sci-fi–inspired exploration of the respiratory system, framed through the narrative of a planetary landing and biological discovery. It explores how organisms might evolve to survive in Mars’ harsh environment, such as low pressure environment, high Concentration of Carbon Dioxide and extreme temperatures. A key innovation is the design of lobulated lungs with expanded surface area, an evolutionary adaptation suited to a Martian environment. Blending speculative biology with storytelling, the project explores how life might adapt beyond Earth, while interactive tools like QR codes and notebooks extend the sense of investigation.
